Silistoara's Independence Monument
Heroes Monument Russian-Turkish War from 1877-1878. This asset is somehow low poly, has PBR materials and it was generated from photos (photogrammetry) and edited afterwards.
It's a good start of using a DSLR (Nikon D5100 in my case) and working arround points cloud generated from these photos, being free in comparison with a 3D professional scanner like Faro, Leica and others.
This monument it was on my 3d modeling list at least 10 years ago, so now it just popped out in this digital space. The asset can be seen by accessing the portfolio menu in Photogrammetry category, can be visualized in online real time rendering using Sketchfab and also can be noticed on augment reality using the french android app Augment from Google Play. Below is the tracker and for using it just install the Augment app on your smartphone, scan the image and a 3D model will appear in a few seconds.
