St. Gheorghe Square - 3D Scanning and modeling
I decided to add this image to this blog because is my first asset created using a point cloud as a reference.
The presentation is in Romanian language and I let it like that (untranslated) to have more "personality".
The ruins from this site were discovered in TImisoara (St. Gheorghe Square) and the company were I work decided to scan the area and to model what is shown in the image below.
I won't give more technical details about this project because we are at the beginning of our journy about using this kind of technology (3D scanning - BIM).
